Impact Team
Location: Lira

Are you looking to solve serious challenges, and take on real responsibilities to create work that stands out? We are looking for a smart problem solver.

What you would do

As part of our Impact Team, you perform our field activities and play a key role in scaling up, training and supporting dairy cooperatives, crop aggregators and farmers that use Emata.

You also link our technical and product teams and the users to collect feedback and promote Emata and its vision. More concretely, your responsibilities include:  

  • Select, sign-up, onboard, train and support agricultural cooperatives
  • Lead farmer onboarding campaigns and loan launch events
  • Build relationships with partners like NGOs, apex bodies, cooperatives, and farmers
  • Observe and collect user feedback to support continuous product development
  • Give product presentations and demos

You will work closely with the Emata product team. This position is field based in Lira and surrounding region. This position is on a project basis (5-10days/month) with the potential for full-time employment. 

What we are looking for

We are looking for an outgoing and communicative person. Someone with a great talent and skill for training people and building trustful relationships. 

In a perfect world, you bring the following: 

  • Ability to build and manage relationships with people from all walks of life  
  • Commercial drive and ability to convert prospective clients  
  • Professional command of English and at least one language of the Northern region  
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

  • Prior experience in agriculture is an added advantage
